Peter's Munchy Monday Blog - The Conclusion of Both Sides of The Party & WOE Expansion/New Rides Update!
Hello, fellow WOE Friends!
I hope today finds you ready for another week's work journey. If not, hopefully, the caffeine will soon kick in. I had a great time with Jennifer, as we went to Orlando on Saturday. I added some pictures of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Peter's Pics.
I was hoping for a good result on Saturday from the scale. Unfortunately, I went up 1.5 lbs. That was a real bummer. So, what did I do on Saturday? Pretty much ate terribly and went to a buffet. It carried over into Sunday.
But today is Monday! I am off to a new start and will work even harder! I only mention this because I'm sure many of you can relate to this challenge or another one you may be facing. Stay strong, and we will fight together!
The WOE Short Story: Both Sides of The Party is complete and online! The fevered climax may surprise you! Find it in the WOE Short Stories section or click on the add below to finish reading.
I have attached the latest H.R. Picture from Saturday: Perception.
WOE Expansion News and Updates!
I've been telling you about the new WOE Complex being built next door to the current one, as well as The Alley that's being built in between the two But there are also new rides being added to the existing Complex that will be opening in June.
In the State Fair's Millennial section is a brand new ride/attraction called The Monster. Sally and I rode it during the Residents After-hours Party preview. It is fully enclosed in a building that is shaped like a giant monster. You sit in twelve seat trains, with an acrylic roof. Four rows of four seats each with its own harness. The Monster is a wild-mouse roller coaster, but entirely in the dark, except for the special effects. The enclosure allows for air to be circulated inside the train to give you a faster moving feeling and enhances the soundtracks acoustics. You will reach speeds of 60 M.P.H. and experience up to 4 g's of force and several intense drops and climbs. The Monster will 'eat your adrenalin up!'
Another new ride will be opening in The Dark Room, called Space Tube. This wild new ride will make any brave thrill seeker think twice about boarding. Twelve people ride one behind the other on a sled, inside a lighted tube. You get launched at 120 M.P.H. forward, then straight up three hundred feet in this tube. You'll then sit in a verticle holding position for ten seconds, then get launched backward at the same speed back to the station. This is the only backward launch anywhere. The lights in the tube make it feel like your being zipped through a space continuum. What an experience. Once was enough for me.
Thanks for reading! Until next time,
