Peter's Monday Blog - NEW WOE Short Story: Two Sides Of The Party & NEW Complex Addition - An unbelievable new Haunted Hotel!
Hello, My favorite WOE Friends!
It is Monday! A new week begins, and so does your creativity. As we get ready for May, think about a short term goal you may be able to complete in May. Me? I need to get serious about my weight loss. I have a problem eating at night, watching Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. I'm sure if I can cut that out, I'll be cutting back quite a few calories.
I have written a new WOE Short Story: Two Sides to every Party - Two high school teens paths cross at a popular party, which alters both their lives forever. Part 2. will be available on Friday. You can start reading by clicking the ad below or finding it in the WOE Short Stories section. Enjoy!
I have attached the new WOE HR Picture - When You Can't Decide, at the end as well.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. WOE Cares Need to Know will be providing useful information throughout the month to bring awareness and help stamp out the stigma that mental health can bring up.
We have already covered depression. The next topic will be posted on Wednesday. There is a new page that contains all the past topics for the WOE Cares Need to Know. You can find the link under WOE Cares or on the WOE Cares page, under the current weekly topic.
Monday's New Complex Addition
I think you'll really love this new hotel as much as the Rain Forest Hotel I told you about last week. This one is actually going to be built right behind the existing Complex, behind Castle Mare. It will be called The Castle Mare Inn. This hotel will be totally unlike any other hotel in the world!
All of its 150 rooms will feature special effects galore. From the spider web chandelier hanging in the main lobby to the monstrous pipe organ to the long dining room tables, this place will have it all.
Yes, you will hear creaking in the middle of the night. You will see ghosts going down the hallways and staircases, you will hear moaning and the sound of chains. Things will appear and disappear.
Each of the 150 rooms will have their own effects. There are no kitchens because all the meals will be served in the dining room. Due to its popularity, guests can only stay for one night. You will check in at lunchtime. Have lunch and dinner. Watch a scary movie in the theater (complete with numerous startle effects in the audience), and then retire to your chamber.
If you wake up in the morning, you will be treated to breakfast before departing back into the "living world."
The Inn will be treated differently than the other onsite hotels because it is an "Experience hotel." It will not have Complex privileges, because once you check in, you don't leave until morning if you survive. However, if you're staying at one of the other onsite hotels, you will have Complex privileges on those days your there.
Expected to be open in September of 2020, just in time for Halloween.
Thanks for reading! Hope you have a productive week! Until next time,
