Greeting, my fellow WOE Friends!
I hope you all are doing well! I am pleased to be back in a somewhat better rhythm. The writing will soon pick-up, and I should be back to a regular schedule shortly.
As I mentioned last Friday in my tale of woe, I had a very serious bout of food poising last Monday evening. But I am happy to say I am finally rebounding! I am sorry for the lack of consistency you were used too. Please bear with me!
I will continue to add pictures and write about our trip in Peter's Pics.
I will also try and get out the promised writing for the importance of father's in Reflections soon.
WOE Short Story: Back to the Elevator in the Graveyard - Part 7. was released on Thursday. Part 8. (or the conclusion?) will be released on Friday.
I have been learning to edit video in Adobe Premiere Pro. Of course, I thought it best to try and work with it before watching the video tutorials. Well, you probably know how that turned out. I am making progress and will hopefully be releasing decent videos soon.
New WOE Complex Expansion update: Tasteopia: Discover Taste
OK. Most everyone has either a sweet tooth or salt addiction. Me" It's salt and chips. Well, a new restaurant that will be opening in the Discover and Science Center in the new Complex, called Tasteopia, will allow you to understand why you have this desire and then allow you to experiment with taste.
After a short instruction period, you will be led into the "Lab" where you will be able to taste many different foods that are either sweet or salty, from around the world. But you will be a test subject. Your partner will be giving you the items knowing what they are and where they're from. You will not. You'll be doing the same to your partner as well.
There is nothing bad or disgusting with the food. The point is to understand how your taste buds work and "experiment" with different tastes to hopefully expand your food pallet.
I can't wait. My pallet is limited. So this should help me better understand spices and tastes.
Thanks for reading! Until next time,
