Peter's Back Friday Blog! Finally back from vacation. Back to the Elevator in the Graveyard Part 7. & WOE Cares Need to Know: Cocaine.
Hello, my fellow WOE Friends!
We're back from Gatlinburg, and I have a lot to share with you! But first, I must apologize. I had all intentions of keeping up the writing and even blogging from our trip.
Well, if you've read the WOE Story, then you'll know I have a vision problem and like packing late into the morning before we take off. On this morning, I sent out my Monday Blog and packed up the computer and HDMI cord, to connect to the hotel's TV. I use a 50" TV in my office as my computer monitor.
When we got to the hotel in Pigeon Forge, it was wasn't very good at all. It was very outdated, and the air conditioning cut out twice while we were there for just ten minutes.
We wound up canceling that reservation and getting another hotel in Gatlinburg. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was terrible. When I went to hook up my computer and use our hot spot, I realized I forgot my computer's power cord. Sally's computer is a PC but used a different wire. Jennifer has an Apple.
All of my files and programs are on my computer, but even the ones I had stored in the Cloud, I would have needed decent internet and a large screen TV to access.
So, yes, good intentions fell short, and I left you without any updates, except pics to our Instagram account.
I also came down with severe food poisoning on Monday evening, and I'm still trying to recover. I am going to the medical facility later today to get checked out. I should be getting things back up to speed shortly, as I start to feel batter.
I'll be telling you much more about our trip in the coming days and weeks. But I wanted you all to know that I didn't mean to leave you hanging.
The WOE Short Story: Back to the Elevator in the Graveyard, Part 7. is now online!
