Marvelous Monday Blog - Drugs can Kill Part 3. Now online!, Renaissance Pictures, & WOE Complex Expansion update!
Hello, fellow WOE Friends,
I hope you had a great weekend! Jennifer celebrated her birthday Sunday, and we went to the Renaissance Festival as part of her gift. She enjoyed it, as did Sally and me. We watched the jousting competition and the Knightwings Birds of Prey. Both pretty good shows.
A couple of things to consider if you plan on going to one of these, at least this one; The ground is covered with mulch and has tree roots galore. It may be difficult to maneuver with a wheelchair or automatic scooter and can be a tripping hazard; there is a lot of adult humor in the shows (usually goes over the kids' heads); there is a lot of beer drinking, and many of the performers make most of their money off of tips. So, after each show, the hat will be passed around.
You can bring small kids, but most of the atmosphere is geared toward adults. They do have a few activities for the younger ones and rides (human push rides). If you love that period and dressing up or even if you don't dress up, you will enjoy it.
I added some pictures I took, as well as a few prices of food, on Peter's Pic's.
The WOE Short Story series; Drugs can Kill, Part 3. is now online!
I included a poster that was released on Saturday by the HR Department.
The current WOE Complex is massive! Not including the three hotels outside of the Complex and the resident villages, it contains five themed sections, The Harmony Theater, and a hotel. I already revealed one Section of the new Complex, which will have a Circus theme last week. I also mentioned a lot of water.
Well, you will be happy to hear that the new WOE Complex will be around the same size as the current one, including another hotel, built into the Complex and two more hotels on the property! That means the WOE Complex will be doubling!
This is wonderful news! More guests can visit each day, and more can stay on property. There will be more employees' and entertainers needed, which means the Employee Scouts and Entertainment Scouts will be busy looking for them around the globe. As some of these new employee's come in, I will be sure to share their stories/interviews with you on Wednesdays.
As Steven C. told me when he shared the news, "We need to expand in order to help more people!"
Much more to come next week and the rest of the year!!
Thanks for reading! Until next time,
